Ever heard of staycation? It’s a vacation that doesn’t require you to leave town and it can even be in the comfort of your own home! Staycations let families enjoy some time off without packing the suitcases. The point is to step away from all of the hustle and bustle that distracts you from connecting with your kids and get into relaxation mode. Taking some time to refresh and reboot your mind while getting some much-needed quality time with the family.
Here are some ideas you can do for your very own staycation.

Who remembers building tiny forts in the living room using cushions and blankets? From playing house, fantasy castle, or even Rocky Mountains, the possibilities are endless. Just let your kids roam free with their imagination and you can play along. You’ll be surprised at how refreshing it can be to the mind, body and soul. The kids won’t mind it either.
2. Netflix and Chill: Kids Edition
Nothing is simpler than movie night at home. Just grab some snacks, turn off the lights and enjoy a good movie with the whole family.
