GENERAL

What is Kidxy?

Kidxy is an online platform for parents, grandparents or friends to discover and book amazing children’s activities by category and location. We currently offer children activities in the category of sports, language, music & rhythm, science, technology & culture, arts, crafts & cooking, and attractions, indoor and outdoor play. Our goal is to provide convenience to search for activities for your child or if you need help with new activities for your child to be exposed to at a members only discounted rate!

Where is Kidxy available?

Kidxy is currently in alpha stage in select neighborhoods of Klang Valley. We will be expanding to additional cities in the coming months. Help us bring Kidxy to your neighbourhood by subscribing to our mailing list! (www.kidxy.com)

How many activities can I attend each month?

Different activities require different amount of credits and it will depend on the type of plan you have purchased with the total number of credits assigned to the plan to be able to know how many activities you can attend each month. Our Partners are also allowed to set a maximum number of times a child can attend their activity per month.

Who operates these activities listed?

Our Activity Partners are carefully selected to ensure every child gets a good experience when they join an activity. The activities are run by local, independent providers.

Is there a mobile app for Kidxy?

Kidxy’s mobile app is currently being developed and will be available in iOS App Store and Android Google Play Store. So stay tuned!

MEMBERSHIP

What kind of memberships do you offer?

We understand flexibility is important to you! Kidxy currently offers single activity purchases or a monthly subscription with credits that can be used anytime up to 3 months.

You will be able to claim activities for your child based on the credits you have on your Account each month. You also have the flexibility to purchase more credits to be added to your Account at any given time.

What happens if I use all my credits and want more?

As a monthly plan customer, you can purchase extra credits to book your favourite activities and the additional credits will be added to your existing ones to be used within the same month.

Is this membership a subscription?

Yes, our membership is a monthly subscription for the plan you have selected. Based on our Terms of Services, you will be charged monthly for the plan selected and your Account in Kidxy will reflect the additional credits purchased on a monthly basis.

When does my membership renew?

Kidxy membership automatically renews on the same date of each month that you signed up. For example, if you first begin and pay your membership on the 7th, your cycle will renew and billed each month on the 7th. This is simply to provide convenience to all Kidxy members.

However, there is no long term commitment for Kidxy. You are welcome to cancel your membership via your “My Account” page at any time, as long as this is done at least three days before your cycle renews. For more information, please refer to our Terms of Services.

Can I purchase more than one membership subscription?

Each parent/guardian can sign up for an account and purchase more than one membership per account.

Can I share my account between children?

Each membership plan is tagged to one child. Therefore, each booking is associated with a specific child and information specific to the child that will be sent to the activity provider once booking is completed.

What happens to unused credits?

Purchased credits will be valid up to 3 months from date of purchase or monthly renewals. Unused credits after 3 months of purchase or renewals will not be carried forward.

Can I cancel my membership?

Yes, you may cancel your membership at any time by going to "My Account" and cancelling the membership. Membership cancellation must be submitted at least three days prior to your next cycle renewal in order not to be charged for the following month. Cancellation of memberships within 24 hours of purchase will receive a refund on your purchase. Cancellation of memberships after 24 hours of purchase will not receive a refund. However, you will be able to continue booking activities until the end of your current billing period with the remaining credits left in your Account.

Is my credit card information secure?

We here at Kidxy take security very seriously and have put measures in place to prevent the loss, misuse and alteration of any information under our control. All purchases are transmitted over secure internet connections using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption technology. Our payment processing partner along with the banks associated to it has put up a secure process in place to accept credit card information.

ACTIVITIES

How do I book an activity?

You can search for activities by date, time, category and location. Once you have found an activity that you want your child to attend, click “Book” and you will receive a confirmation email.

How early are activity schedules available?

Schedule of activities are available from 3 months up to 1 week before the activity date.

Is there a limit to the number of times my child can experience an activity in a single place?

The limit of access to an activity at a centre is defined by the centre and is listed on the activity page.

How does a child get verified when they attend their activity?

Once a booking is made for an activity, you will receive an email confirmation for the booking. Please show this proof of booking when your child attends the activity. Our Partners who are hosting the activity will also be informed of the child that is attending based on your booking for verification.

What happens if we miss an activity?

Once a booking is done, you are only allowed to cancel the booking within 24 hours of the booking. After that, the activity is considered booked and the associated credits will be deducted from your account. Any bookings within 48 hours of the activity time is considered non-cancellable.

Can an activity be cancelled by the Activity provider?

We don’t want to let children down when they are excited about their upcoming activity! Therefore, only activities that require a minimum number of participants can be cancelled ahead of time.

Is there a limit to a number of participants in order for an activity to be conducted?

Some activities may have a minimum number of participants in order for the activity to be conducted. This is defined by the Activity Partner ahead of time and will reflect in the Activity page. You will be able to identify this prior to booking the activity.

What if there are not enough participants for an activity to be conducted?

For activities that have a minimum number of participants, we will send an email to you 48 hours before the activity to inform you if the activity is cancelled or not. If the activity is cancelled, we will refund the associated credits to your Account so you can book another activity at your convenience!
